IOC Tripartite Commission and ISSF allocate 16 final Paris 2024 places

Twelve athletes have been named for the Paris 2024 Olympics through the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Tripartite Commission Universality Places which have now been allocated.

Of the 16 available Places the IOC was able to allocate 12 - the remaining four were returned to the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) for reallocation.

This is the final part of the process of Paris 2024 qualification which began with the 2022 European Shotgun Championships from August 24 to September 12, 2022 in Larnaca.

The individual recipients of Universality Places through the Tripartite Commission are:

10m air rifle men: Md Robiul Islam (Bangladesh)

Rifle 50m 3 positions men: Israel Guttierrez (El Salvador)

10m air pistol men: Philip Elhage (Aruba)

Trap men: Gianluca Chetcuti (Malta), Said Al Khatri (Oman)

Skeet men: Hakon Svavarsson (Iceland), Jorge Antonio Salhe (Palestine)

10m air rifle women: Anastasija Mojsovska (North Macedonia); Mariel Jose Lopez Pavlon (Nicaragua), Sushmita Nepal (Nepal)

10m air pistol women: Manjola Konini (Albania), Yasameen Al Raimi (Yemen)

 Additionally the ISSF has reallocated four Universality Places to the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the following countries: Israel (10m air rifle men), Singapore ( 25m pistol women), Finland (trap women) Cyprus (skeet women).
