ISSF Road to Paris 2024 looks at the history of shooting sport at the Olympics

Featuring Olympic highlights and exclusive big-name interviews all the way to the Games Opening Ceremony on July 26

In a special edition of ISSF’s Road To Paris 2024, Jamie Stangroom and Martina Lučić take fans on a journey through the history of Shooting Sports in the Olympics.

Episode 18 features a cameo from ISSF President Luciano Rossi and insights from notable ISSF athletes such as Norway’s Jeanette Hegg Duestad in what is a comprehensive look at the evolution and milestones of Olympic Shooting.

Shooting sport was one of the original sports that took place at the first modern Olympics at Athens in 1896, and has featured in every Games since save the 1904 and 1928 editions.

This 20-part ISSF documentary countdown to the Olympics and Paralympics, hosted by Martina and Jamie, will take the sport’s followers all the way through to the Games Opening Ceremony on July 26.

En route it is revisiting some of the biggest Olympic moments and feature exclusive interviews with some of shooting sport’s top names.
