The ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol started in Cairo, Egypt, and opened the new Olympic cycle with over 500 athletes from 64 countries.
The first medals were played by men in 10m Air Rifle. In a bitter struggle, Italian Danilo Dennis SOLLAZZO won. This is the first victory for Danilo Dennis in the ISSF competition for men. In the Gold Medal match, he was more accurate than his opponent, Patrik JANY from Slovakia. Third place was taken by another athlete from the European continent Jiri PRIVRATSKY from the Czech Republic.
The European champion in 2021 Oceanne MULLER from France won this event among women. The second place was taken by Anastasiia GALASHINA. Alison Marie WEISZ from USA won Bronze.
