Medal standings after 11 of 15 events

The medal standings in the shooting Olympic competitions after 11 out of 15 events. China keeps the lead, reaching the goal of equalling the number of four Golds won at the last Games of Athens.

The People's Republic of China still in first place in the medal standings, at the top of the rank both by Gold won and by total of medals. The Chinese team reached the goal of equalling the number of four Golds won in Athens. DU Li gained the fourth Gold with an extraordinary performance at today's the 50m Rifle Three Positions Women Event.
The same final brought a Silver to Czech Republic, that keeps its position in second thanks to the skilled 24-year old rifle shooter Katerina Emmons, who reached her second medal at the Games of Beijing .
Italy bounced up in third place, overtaking the USA and Korea with the Gold won by Chiara CAINERO at today's Skeet Women Event.
