Broadcast live on the ISSF YouTube channel, the session featured Olympic silver medallist Silvana Stanco of Italy, Olympic bronze medallist and IOC Member Danka Hrbeková of Slovakia, Local Organising Committee President Ivan Carella, and ISSF President Luciano Rossi.
The first athlete to take the stage was home favourite Silvana Stanco, who spoke about the special feeling of competing at Trap Concaverde and her objectives for the remainder of the season.

Stanco also explained that her focus remains firmly on peaking for the most important competitions of the year, with the upcoming World Championships and Olympic quota places her main priorities.
Next, Danka Barteková reflected on her remarkable career, recalling that Lonato hosted her first international competition more than 25 years ago and encouraging young athletes to enjoy every step of their sporting journey.

Representing the Local Organising Committee, Ivan Carella highlighted the scale of this year's World Cup, which has attracted more than 600 athletes from 81 nations, and praised the work behind the scenes to deliver another successful edition in Lonato.

Closing the media session, ISSF President Luciano Rossi underlined the federation's commitment to strengthening communication and continuing to grow the global reach of shooting sport.
"The ISSF has opened the door to a new era of communication. For too many years we remained closed. Today we are working closely with the media and journalists because communication is essential to the future growth of our sport."
Looking ahead to the rest of the season, Rossi also emphasised the importance of the upcoming ISSF World Championships in Doha, where the first Olympic quota places for Los Angeles 2028 will be awarded.
"Here in Lonato we have athletes from 81 countries across all continents. Now we look ahead to Doha, where we will continue working with our Member Federations to give every athlete the best opportunity to prepare for the road to LA28."
