The unique shooter, who won the first Olympic Gold medal for his nation at the last Olympic Games in Athens 2004, just added another important title to his shooting sport achievements by winning today’s Gold medal at the first final of the ISSF World Championships in Lonato. Almaktoum finished with a final score of 189 targets after missing four targets during the final round. On second place followed Wang Nan, 26, from China. Wang competed today for the first time as a finalist at an ISSF competition. In third place moved Park Jung Wan, 27, from Korea.
