The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) invites media representatives to attend the official ISSF Media Session taking place in Munich, Germany, on 26 May 2026 at 11:00 local time, during the ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol Munich 2026.
The session will be held at the Finals Hall of the Olympiaschießanlage (Olympic shooting Range), venue of the competition taking place from 24 to 31 May 2026.
The Media Session will be attended by ISSF President Luciano Rossi, together with the Vice President for Sport f the German Shooting Federation, Volker Kächele. Hungarian rifle athlete Istvan Peni will also participate, alongside other German athletes to be confirmed.
The session will provide media representatives with an opportunity to engage directly with athletes and key figures from the international shooting sport community ahead of the finals phase of the competition. Discussions will focus on the Munich World Cup, athlete preparation, the development of the sport and the ISSF vision looking ahead to future international events and the Olympic Games.
As one of the major events of the 2026 ISSF season, the ISSF World Cup Munich is expected to gather many of the world’s leading rifle and pistol athletes, making the Media Session an important opportunity for interviews, content creation and media engagement.
