Oestli sets new World Record Junior in men’s final
The 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men Junior Final, held at 15:30 local time, was won by Norway’s Jens Oestli, who set a new Junior World Record (WRJ) and European Junior Record (ERJ) with 360.2 points.
Oestli maintained a strong and consistent performance throughout the final, securing gold ahead of Slovenia’s Maksimilijan Zaric, who claimed silver with 355.3.
Bronze went to Sweden’s Jesper Johansson, who finished with 346.3 after another solid performance in Osijek.
Switzerland’s Dorian Saillen placed fourth with 332.9, followed by Austria’s Patrick Entner in fifth with 322.3.
Swiss athlete Lio Wickihalder finished sixth, Ukraine’s Oleksii Viatchin placed seventh and Italy’s Achille Renato Beretta completed the final in eighth positio

Gold went to Maja Magdalena Gawenda, who also established a new Junior World Record (WRJ) and European Junior Record (ERJ) with 358.7 points.
Her teammate Dominika Skarupska followed closely behind to win silver with 358.3, making it a one-two finish for Poland.
The bronze medal was claimed by Czech athlete Anna Dubska, who finished with 345.0.
Germany’s Finnja Rentmeister placed fourth ahead of Switzerland’s Alina Schmid in fifth.
Germany’s Xenia Mund, Latvia’s Anete Tukisa and Sweden’s Sandra Evelina Neumann Szilagyi completed the final standings.
