ISSF President Luciano Rossi has visited Muscat, Oman for the 2025 Arab Shooting and Airgun Championship, in his final visit of the year.
He met with delegates at the National Olympic Shooting Complex in the capital city for the Opening Ceremony of the event, taking place until 25 December.
During the ceremony, he wished athletes, officials and coaches the best of luck and thanked the Sultan of Oman, HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said for holding the competition in the country.
He also congratulated the Oman Shooting Association and its President Vice Admiral Naval Abdullah Khamis Abdullah Al-Raisi on organising the Championship, which sees athletes compete from across the Arab states.
During his visit, he met with Arab Shooting Confederation President HE Duaij Al-Otaibi, who also serves as the Secretary General of the Asian Shooting Confederation.
