ELEY UK becomes newest Gold Sponsor of ISSF

The ISSF is delighted to welcome ammunition manufacturer ELEY UK as its newest supporter for 2026, joining as a Gold Sponsor.

Established in 1828 by William and Charles Eley, ELEY is now globally recognised as a world leader in producing consistently accurate .22LR rimfire ammunition, manufactured in Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

Its team includes internationally-recognised specialists with extensive knowledge in internal and external ballistics and powder dynamics. Their clients range from athletes at club, world and Olympic level, providing excellent service across the world.

At the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, all gold and silver medals won were done so with ELEY tenex ammunition. In 1988 the company would win the Queen's Award for Technology for the development of ELEY prime, the world's first and only automated dry priming system.

Testament to their popularity, 9 out of 15 medals at the Athens 2004 Olympics were won with ELEY ammunition and 14 out of 18 at London 2012, as well as all gold medals at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games and 19 of 21 medals at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Since 1964, its ammunition has won 140 Olympic medals. At Paris 2024, it supplied its product to athletes who won three golds, four silvers and four bronzes.
