International Shooting Sport Federation President Luciano Rossi and Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo have travelled to Costa Navarino in Greece, representing our sport at the 144th IOC Session.
Joined by delegates from around the world, they are set for three days of important updates within the Olympic Movement, including the election of a new President of the International Olympic Committee.
At the Opening Ceremony, the President and Secretary General met with the Italian National Olympic Committee President Giovanni Malagò, as well as Slovakian shooting great Danka Hrbeková-Bartekova, who is an IOC member and Chair of the IOC Digital Engagement and Marketing Communications Commission.
The ISSF representatives received warm welcomes from a variety of key administrators including the President of the International Paralympic Committee, Andrew Parsons, and the President of the European Olympic Committee, Spyros Capralos. Also in attendance was Agathi Kassoumi, ISSF Academy Head Coach and Hellenic Shooting Federation President Thanasis Papageorgiou.

The election of the next President of the International Olympic Committee will take place on March 20 and the ISSF looks forward to working closely with the successful candidate.
