Tuzinsky was a clear leader from start to finish in the men's competition, building up a great gap to those behind him and finishing with a total of 242.5 - still far ahead of Pavel Schejbal of Czech Republic on 240.9 despite finishing with an 8.5.
Jason Solari from Switzerland took the bronze medal, far ahead of Olympic medallist Federico Nilo Maldini of Italy in fourth.

The Turkish athlete had met Arunovic in the Olympic mixed team final in a losing effort, but got the better of Arunovic on this occasion after excelling in the elimination stage. In the end, Tarhan finished with a score of 240.8 to the Serbian's 238.7.
