The International Shooting Sport Federation visit to Australia ended with positive discussions with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee.
ISSF President Luciano Rossi participated in an online meeting, alongside his team of ISSF Vice-President and Oceania Shooting Federation President, Cath Fettell; ISSF Executive Committee member and Shooting Australia CEO, Adam Sachs; and Shooting Australia Precision Program Manager and Para Lead, Cat Berry.
There, they spoke with Brisbane 2032 Chief Executive, Cindy Hook and Brisbane 2032 Director of Sport, Brendan Keane about ongoing preparations, with the ISSF aiming for shooting sport to make the Olympic Programme.
The previous day, Rossi attended a meeting with Paralympics Australia President, Alison Creagh and Paralympics Australia Chief Executive Cameron Murray, discussing amongst other topics, the future of Para shooting sport.
