ISSF President Luciano Rossi is attending Olympic House, the home of the International Olympic Committee, as part of a two-day seminar focusing on the sport programme for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

On the first day, the President and Secretary General received updates from the Olympic Broadcasting Services and information about digital engagement, before an address was made by IOC President Thomas Bach.

OBS and social media results were analysed from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and then strategy in these areas prior to Los Angeles.

Following President Bach's speech, the Paris 2024 torches handover ceremony took place, with all attention now focused on the next Summer Games in Los Angeles, United States in just over three years' time.

During the afternoon, the LA28 competition schedule, sports venue masterplan and sport planning were discussed, and updates were given by the LA28 sport and technology teams.

Sustainability and low environmental impact were key in talks about sports venues.
