The International Shooting Sport Federation President Luciano Rossi, accompanied by Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo, is attending the International Federations Forum by SportAccord, held at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The pair will spend three days listening to speeches from world leaders and experts in the sports industry including SportAccord President Ugur Erdener and World Anti-Doping Agency President Witold Banka.
Indian shooting great Abhinav Bindra, who is the vice-chair of the IOC Athletes' Commission, will participate in a panel called "Supporting your athletes' mental health: IF best practices".
Other topics to be discussed include sustainability in sport, gender equality, artificial intelligence, esports and the future Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028.
Nicole Hovertsz, Vice-President of the IOC welcomed attendees in the opening speech.
