The award will be delivered by ISSF President Luciano Rossi during the Opening Ceremony for the event.
A shortlist of six athletes per category was determined following voting from members of the ISSF Athletes and Coaches Committee, ISSF Media team and shooting sport journalists, who were allowed to nominate any athlete based on their 2024 season achievements. Votes are tallied through a points-based system.
One women's and one men's recipient will be named during the Ceremony, with victors receiving a trophy and diploma. Please find the shortlisted candidates below:
Francisca Crovetto (CHI): Women's Skeet: gold medallist, Paris 2024 Olympic Games, bronze medallist, American Championships.
Camille Jedrzejewski (FRA): Women's 25m Pistol: silver medallist, Paris 2024 Olympic Games, gold medallist, European Championships, Two ISSF World Cup victories.
Kim Ye-ji (KOR): Women's 10m Pistol: silver medallist, Paris 2024 Olympic Games, 25m Pistol: silver medallist, Asian Championships, one gold, silver and bronze at ISSF World Cup events.
Chiara Leone (SUI): Women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions: gold medallist, Paris 2024 Olympic Games, European Championships, silver at ISSF World Cup.
Adriana Ruano Oliva (GUA): Women's Trap: gold medallist, Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Yang Jiin (KOR): Women's 25m Pistol: gold medallist, Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Asian Championships, one gold and one silver at ISSF World Cup events.
