Further date changes for ISSF World Cups in Buenos Aires and Lima

Malakasa, in Greece, will host the 2025 ISSF World Championship Shotgun event from October 8 to 19.

As a result the I2025 SSF World Championship in Cairo, which remains scheduled for November 6 to 16, will now only feature rifle and pistol events.

Two other changes have been made to next year’s ISSF schedule involving World Cups in South America.

The World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun in Buenos Aires, Argentina, originally due to take place from April 10 to 20 and then re-set for  March 25 to April 4 has now been reassigned for April 1 to 11.

Similarly the World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun in Lima, Peru, first set for October 9 to 18 and brought forward to April 6 to 15 to accommodate the Malakasa event, will now go ahead from April 13 to 22.

Malakasa, 30km north of the Greek capital Athens, has been annual host to the internationally recognized Rockwave Festival since 1996, during which time it has featured acts including Iggy Pop, Pulp, Blur, Garbage, Oasis and The Prodigy.
