On July 30th, The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) held a celebration dinner at ISSF

Now 96 years old, Ennio won the shotgun trap event at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games and during
his career became a two-time world champion as well as the 1964 European champion in the city
his company was founded in 1988, Bologna.
Silvia Mattarelli, the daughter of Ennio, was welcomed to the stage in Chateauroux by ISSF
President Luciano Rossi to celebrate the 60th anniversary of her father’s Olympic victory in Japan.
The man himself was shown on the big screen at ISSF House in a filmed interview.
Paolo Salvato, the CEO of Gruppo Fiocchi, and Nicola Perazzi, who was part of the family that
provided Ennio Mattarelli his shotguns during his career, were also part of the special evening.
