ISSF House, the sport’s unique promotion and hospitality hub in Chateauroux, France, which will serve as the “home” of the international shooting sport family during the Olympic Games Paris 2024, is opening tomorrow (July 26).
The House - situated at 1 Allée de l'Ordre National du Mérite, 36000 Chateauroux - will be “the” exclusive meeting place for all connected to the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF).
ISSF House is approximately 15 minutes’ drive from the Olympic competition venue in the centre of Chateauroux - easily accessible for resident athletes and visitors from Paris.
The support of our premium partners RWS, Beretta, SIUS and CSG with its brands Fiocchi, Baschieri & Pellagri, and Perazzi will enable a historic gathering of federation representatives, athletes, coaches, sponsors, sporting goods manufacturers, international media representatives and supporters of shooting sports during the biggest event in the sporting calendar.
ISSF is also hugely grateful to Official partner Capapie and Supporting partner Suooter.
Located in a historic building in the town of Chateauroux, ISSF House will be accessible by invitation only from tomorrow until the end of the shooting competitions on August 5.
ISSF House will offer a warm welcome and a comfortable base to athletes, global media, members of the shooting sport community and a range of special guests, with a dedicated Meet and Greet area provided.
This will enhance how the world sees and engages with shooting sport, starting from the Olympic Opening Ceremony on July 26 and throughout all 10 days of scheduled competition starting from July 27.
ISSF House will also include a dedicated media room which will offer interview opportunities with Paris 2024 athletes and medal winners and other legendary figures in the sport.
All guests will be able to try out a Virtual Reality (VR) experience which replicates competing in Olympic shooting sports, offering all the ambient sounds and visuals of the Olympic competition happening in real life just a few hundred metres away.
ISSF President Luciano Rossi said: “We are delighted we can allow people to experience the thrill and precision of Olympic shooting sports like never before.”
“We are dedicated to bridging the gap between reality and virtual experiences in a way that does not detract from the traditional sport but adds to its value by introducing more people to shooting sport in a modern and fun way.”
There will also be a Photography Show reflecting all the excitement and spectacle of historic shooting sport competition.
ISSF House will offer space and bespoke business opportunities to select sponsors.
All partners are getting a combination of ISSF House Access, Gala Dinner Invites, Branding throughout the ISSF House and amplification of the partnership on ISSF channels.
Partners have also been invited to join the ISSF to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremony at ISSF House.
Brands have also some specific activations, especially on digital platforms.
The contracting of top international brands to ISSF House marks a significant step in the ISSF strategy to create stronger relationships with companies and federations across the sport.
As a gathering place for athletes, including medal winners, after the competitions which will also be open to Olympic media, ISSF House is expected to deliver a unique experience to guests during the period of the Olympic Games, and to help to increase awareness of the sport.
