Triple victory for the People's Republic of China at the World Championship

The ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol started in Cairo, Egypt.

Around 1050 athletes from 88 countries from all continents will participate here. These competitions will provide an opportunity for teams from Asia, Africa, America and Australia to win the first Quotas in 10 Olympic events following the athletes from Europe who opened the Olympic Qualification in Poland.

 

On the first day, the team from People's Republic of China won three victories at once.

 

Linshu DU from People's Republic of China won the Gold of the World Championship in the first event of the tournament. He was more accurate than his rivals in the 50m Rifle Prone Men Junior. Silver went to Julien GALLOT from France, Bronze went to Ferenc TOEROEK from Hungary.

 

An athlete from China also won in this event among Women Junior. Min HOU was more accurate than her rivals Nele STARK from Germany and Gina Daniela GYGER from Switzerland, who finished in second and third places, respectively.

 

The third Gold was won by Chinese athletes Zizhao LUO, Sixuan FENG and Qianxun YAO in the 25m Pistol Team Women Junior.

Silver went to Minseo KIM, Yeseul KIM and Jiin YANG from Republic of Korea. Bronze was won by Naamya KAPOOR, Vibhuti BHATIA and Esha SINGH from India.
