Athletes from 7 countries won medals at the Grand Prix in Slovenia

The ISSF Grand Prix 10m, which opened a new Olympic cycle in shooting sport, continues in Ruse, Slovenia.

 

Athletes from 7 countries won medals in 3 events on the second day of the competition. 

 

Anna KORAKAKI and Dionysios KORAKAKIS from Greece won in a bitter struggle in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team. In the Gold Medal Match, they were more accurate than Vitalina BATSARASHKINA and Artem CHERNOUSOV from the Russian Federation. Bronze medals were won by Jasmina MILOVANOVIC and Dimitrije GRGIC from Serbia, Veronika MAJOR and Miklos TATRAI from Hungary.

 

Andrea ARSOVIC from Serbia was the best in 10m Air Rifle Women. Her rival in the fight for the Gold was Eszter MESZAROS from Hungary, who took second place. The Bronze medal was won by Sabina THURNWALDOVA from the Czech Republic.

 

In 10m Air Rifle Men Gold was won by Miran MARICIC from Croatia, who in the fight for the first place was more accurate than Bronze medalist of the Rio 2016 Vladimir MASLENNIKOV from the Russian Federation. The Bronze medalist was Patrik JANY from Slovakia.
