The ISSF World Rankings have been updated after the ISSF World Cup Finals delivered the fifteen seasonal titles. The Russian 29-year-old Rifle shooter was the only athlete who dethroned the Rio 2016 Olympic Champion, Italy’s Niccolò Campriani.

The fifteen ISSF World Rankings have been updated on November 1st, as the ISSF World Cup Final in Rifle/Pistol events took place in Bologna (TA) from October 4th to October 10th, and the ISSF World Cup Final in Shotgun events followed in Rome (ITA), from the 10th to the 16th.

Only the men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions event saw an alternation at the top of its table, where the World Cup Final Gold medallist, Russian Federation’s Sergey Kamenskiy, overtook the current Olympic Champion Niccolò Campriani (28) of Italy, who didn’t compete in Bologna.

All the remaining events confirmed the Rio 2016 Gold medallists atop their rankings, while the winners of the ISSF Globes gained positions in every single table: United States’ Michael McPhail, for example, climbed from the 19th to the 5th place after claiming the men’s 50m Rifle Prone seasonal title, while Serbia’s Damir Mikec jumped up eleven positions in the men’s 10m Air Pistol ranking, placing 4th.
