She made it again. Denmark's Charlotte Jakobsen, 33, won the 300m Rifle Prone Women event world title, in Granada, today, pocketing her fourth world title in 300m rifle events since the 2002 Wolrd Championship.
The Danish athlete scored 593 points to finish atop of the podium, one point more than what marked by Eva Roesken of Germany, second with 592 points. Anzela Voronova of Estonia took the Bronze with 591 points.
The best 300m Rifle Prone Women team turned out to be Sweden's (Marie Enqvist, Anna Normann and Elin Ahlin) with 1769 points. Germany finished in second (Eva Roesken, Sandra Georg and Gudrun Wittmann) with 1766 points. France pocketed another Rifle medal, ending up in third place with 1753 points scored by Olivia Goberville, Catherine Houlmont and Christine Chuard.
Cyril Graff of France won today's 300m Standard Rifle competition. The 1980's athlete from Versailles shot a new world record score of 589 points, breaking the 586-point record set by Austria's Michae. Podolak at the 2013 European Championship.
The 300m Standard Rifle Silver medal went to Norway's Ole Kristian Bryhn, with a great score of 587 points, two points more of what scored by Marcel Buerge of Switzerland, third with 585 points.
Norway won the the teams Gold (Ole Jristian Bryhn, Odd Ame Brekne, Kim Andr Lund) with 1734 points. Switzerland (Marcel Buerge, Claude-Alain Delley, Oliver Schaffter) took the silver with 1734 points, while team France (Cyril Graff, Valerian Sauveplane and Josselin Henry) finished on the third step of the podium, with 1731 points.
