ISSF thanks the shooting sport family for its support during this intense year, and wish you all a successful 2010!

2009 has been a great sport season for shooting. Coming from a fantastic Olympic year, the International Shooting Sport Federation and its leadership continued working in the benefit of the shooters and of its stakeholders to ensure a bright future for the shooting sport. The 2009 World Cup Series in Olympic events, the Shotgun and the Running Target World Championships turned into a success, both for the athletes and for the shooting sport fans. At the end of this year, the ISSF would like to thank the shooting sport family, its supporters, the athletes and the coaches that keep on carrying on the values of our sport.

2010 is yet to come: a new year of sport challenges and competition is ahead of us. The ISSF World Championship in all events in Munich, next July, is announced to be a memorable competition, with a record participation of thousands of athletes looking for the first 2012 Olympic Quota Places. 2010 is also going to be the year of the youth, with the first edition of the Youth Olympic Games taking place in Singapore next August writing a new page of the glorious Olympic history.

With these sport challenges ahead of us, the ISSF would like to extend its best wishes to all you for a successful start in the New Year!

Happy Holidays!
