Opening Ceremony
On May 21st was declared open the ISSF World Cup Shotgun Almaty, KAZ in a beautiful ceremony with dance performances in the national style "Moyil" and other cultural performances.
During the ceremony the ISSF President, Luciano Rossi, was awarded from the Prosecutor General Berik Assylov President of the Kazakhstan Sport Shooting Federation with the special Honour Cross of Sport of the Kazakhstan Republic.
The official event will take place from May 22nd to May 29th when 230 athletes from 42 countries will compete in different disciplines on their journey to the podium! On the next days 81 team officials and technical officials will take part in a total of 304 starts, including the qualification stages and 5 finals.
