First winners of the year 2023

ISSF Grand Prix 10m- Ruse, SLO

The ISSF Grand Prix 10m takes place in Ruse, Slovenia from 12 to 15 January and opens the new Olympic cycle.

206 athletes from 31 countries of the world have become participants in the Grand Prix and are fighting for the first medals this year in 10 individual, mixed team and team events. Finals are held in Ruse.

 

In 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Gold medal went to Oceanne  MULLER and Lucas Bernard Denis KRYZS from team France 1 in the Gold medal match, they were more accurate than Julia CANESTRELLI and Brian BAUDOUIN from the team France 2. The Bronze medals were won by the Japanese team, Naoya OKADA and  Shiori HIRATA and the Swedisch team , Isabelle JOHANANSSON and Marcus MADSEN.

Veronika MAJOR from the Hungarian Federation won Gold in the 10m Air Pistol Women in a in a hard-fought battle, she overtook Chia Ying  WU from Tapei , who took second place. Renata SIKE from Hungaria won Bronze.

 

Jason SOLARI  from Switzerland showed the best result in 10m Air Pistol Men. Second place went to Juraj TUZINSKY  from Slovakia, Jindrich DUBOVY from Czech Republic  came third.

 

Tomorrow the athletes will compete for medals in three events: 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team, 10m Air Rifle Men and 10m Air Rifle Women.
