3 medals for India and France in Suhl

The ISSF World Cup Junior Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun continues in Suhl, Germany.

Today athletes competed for medals in 4 events, 3 medals were won by the teams of India and France.

 

Julia Ewa PIOTROWSKA and Wiktor SAJDAK from Poland won Gold in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Junior. In the Gold Medal match, they were more accurate than Ramita RAMITA and Paarth MAKHIJA from India. Bronze medals were won by two French teams at once: Oceanne MULLER and Bastien Louis Noel DESTEFANIS, Julia CANESTRELLI and Noe GUEZ AUGER.

 

Athletes from India won two medals at once in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Junior. Gold was won by Esha SINGH and Chaudhary SAURABH, Silver by Palak PALAK and Sarabjot SINGH. The third place was taken by the French Estelle FAUCHON and Theo MOCZKO, and athletes from Georgia Mariami PRODIASHVILI and Giorgi MUMLADZE.

 

Selin ALI from Bulgaria showed the best result in Trap Women Junior. Sydney Marie KRIEGER from USA and Sofia LITTAME from Italy came in second and third places respectively.

 

In Trap Men Junior Marco Vincenzo CORBO from Australia was the most accurate. Silver was won by Lance Patrick THOMPSON from USA, the third was Hussein DARUICH from Brazil.

 

Tomorrow the athletes will determine the winners in Team events.
