Germany and Norway victorious at the ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro

At the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol today athletes competed for medals in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men and 50m Rifle 3 Positions Mixed Team events.

Rio 2016 Olympic Champion Christian REITZ from Germany once again won here the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men. Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion Jean QUIQUAMPOIX from France took second place. The youngest participant in the final, 20-year-old Henry Turner LEVERETT from USA, won the Bronze. This medal was the first for him at the ISSF competitions among seniors.

 

The Gold Match in 50m Rifle 3 Positions Mixed Team featured the same athletes as the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team. But this time the best result was shown by Jeanette Hegg DUESTAD and Jon-Hermann HEGG from Norway. Lucie BRAZDOVA and Jiri PRIVRATSKY took second place. Bronze was won by athletes from Norway as well - Jenny STENE and Simon CLAUSSEN.
