First medalists in Croatia

The ISSF Grand Prix 10m has started in Osijek, Croatia, with more than 180 athletes from 20 countries taking part.

 

The first medals were played by athletes in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team. France and Hungary won 2 medals each. Oceanne MULLER and Brian BAUDOUIN from France won the Gold in a bitter struggle and defeated Eszter DENES and Zalan PEKLER from Hungary. Bronze medals were won by GOMEZ Judith and Lucas Bernard Denis KRYZS from France and Eszter MESZAROS and Istvan PENI from Hungary.

 

Veronika MAJOR from Hungary won the 10m Air Pistol Women. The second place was taken by the silver medalist of Tokyo 2020 Antoaneta KOSTADINOVA from Bulgaria. The winner of Tokyo 2020  Russian Vitalina BATSARASHKINA from the Russia Federation took Bronze.

 

Among men, this event was won by Artem CHERNOUSOV from the Russian Federation. Ruslan LUNEV from Azerbaijan took second place, Paolo MONNA from Italy - third.

 

Tomorrow the athletes will compete for medals in three events: 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team, 10m Air Rifle Men and 10m Air Rifle Women.
