14-year-old Naamya KAPOOR from India won World Championship

Team India continues to lead in Peru.

At the ISSF Junior World Championship Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun, athletes competed for medals in the 25m Pistol Women Junior and 50m Rifle 3 positions Men Junior events.

 

At 25m Pistol Women, the sensation was created by 14-year-old KAPOOR Naamya from India. At the first World Championship, the athlete not only participated in the final, but also won Gold. Silver was won by JEDRZEJEWSKI Camille from France in a bitter struggle. The Bronze was won by BHAKER Manu from India, who previously became the world champion in the 10m Pistol Women Junior.

 

The Indian athlete also won the 50m Rifle 3 positions Men Junior. TOMAR Aishwary Pratap Singh has already won the eighth Gold for the team. The Second place was taken by KRYZS Lucas Bernard Denis from France, the Third - by the American BARNICK Gavin Raymond Leigh.
