In the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Mixed Team, athletes from Germany won two medals at once. Christian REITZ and Sandra REITZ took first place, Oliver GEIS and Doreen VENNEKAMP - third. Silver went to Svetlana MEDVEDEVA and Leonid EKIMOV from the Russian Federation.
Representatives of the two countries won medals in Trap Women. 38 athletes took part in the event. Gold and Silver were won by Italians Silvana STANCO and Jessica ROSSI. The third was Jana SPOTAKOVA from Slovakia, who won her first World Cup medal.
In Trap Men the victory was also celebrated by the Italian National team. Mauro DE FILIPPIS was stronger than his rivals throughout the Final. The second was Ioannis CHATZITSAKIROGLOU from Greece, who also won his first World Cup medal. Giovanni CERNOGORAZ from Croatia brought joy to fans at the home competition and took third place.
More than 600 athletes from 61 countries participate in the competition, competing for medals in 30 events.
