The stage is set in Munich for the fourth ISSF World Cup of the season

Seventy-six days after the last shot was fired in New Delhi (IND), the international Rifle/Pistol scene is ready to claim the spotlights back, as the fourth ISSF World Cup stage of the season will take place in Munich (GER) from the 17th to the 24th of May.

The latest ISSF World Cup event in the Rifle/Pistol disciplines took place on March 1st in New Delhi (IND), where home hero Jitu Rai sealed an unbelievable comeback with the third World Cup Gold medal of his career.

 

Now, 76 days later, it’s time for the best Rifle/Pistol shooters in the world the get back on the firing line, as the ISSF World Cup Stage 4 in Munich (GER) will kick-off tomorrow at the well-known Olympic Shooting Range in Hochbrück. The historic venue that hosted the Olympic Shooting events of the Games of the XX Olympiad held in 1972.

 

More than 750 athletes are expected to participate in the competition, representing 80 National Olympic Committees and piling up 1274 starts in the ten events of the two disciplines.

 

Those matches are evenly distributed along the five days of shooting, and they will take place according to the following schedule:

 

Friday, May 19th

10m Air Rifle Men at 1:30 pm (UTC+2:00)

10m Air Rifle Women at 5:00 pm

 

Saturday, May 20th

50m Pistol Men at 11:15 am

25m Pistol Women at 1:30 pm

 

Sunday, May 21st

50m Rifle Prone Men at 10:30 am

25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men at 4:00 pm

 

Monday, May 22nd

50m Rifle 3 Positions Women at 11:30 am

10m Air Pistol Men at 1:15 pm

 

Tuesday, May 23rd

10m Air Pistol Women 12:15 pm

50m Rifle 3 Positions Men 1:30 pm

 

The ISSF World Cup Series will stop in Munich for the seventh consecutive season, while the fifth and final stage of the season is expected to take place in Gabala (AZE) from June 6th to June 14th.

 

The ten final matches of the ISSF World Cup Stage 4 in Munich will be streamed live on the ISSF website, on its Livestream channel and on its official Facebook page.
