India triumphs at the men’s 50m Pistol final: Jitu Rai and Amanpreet Singh take gold and silver
India’s top-ranked pistol shooter Jitu Rai collected the first gold for the host country at the ISSF World Cup in New Delhi. Coming back from the 6th place, he beat his teammate Singh to climb upon the highest step of the podium.

Men’s 10m Air Pistol: Matsuda beats Olympic Champ Hoang, India’s Rai pockets Bronze.
2010 World Champ Matsuda of Japan beat reigning Olympic Champ Hoang of Vietnam at today’s 10m Air Pistol Men final. India’s Jitu Rai came back from 7th to 3rd place to win Bronze, supported by the home crowd.

The Indian shooter beat two of the strongest members of the Chinese Olympic team, Pang Wei and Wang Zhiwei, to win the 50m Pistol Men final at the ISSF World Cup in Bangkok.
