ISSF Academy announces schedule for 2018 courses

Locations, dates and deadlines have been made official. Both courses will be held in Bar (MNE).

The ISSF Academy has announced its international course schedule for 2018. Two courses are planned, the ISSF Academy C course for international coaches licence and the much in demand ISSF/IOC National Training Systems Development Project. In addition to the C23 course announced today. An additional C22 course has been scheduled for the coaches who were on the waiting list of the C21 course. This class is already complete.

 

From October 14th to October 21st

ISSF Academy C23 Course in Bar (MNE)

Registration deadline: March 28th

 

The C-license course is the first of the ISSF Academy's international licenses and marks the first step to an internationally recognised coaching license. It’s been designed to provide the coach with a wide understanding of the role of coaching and the skills required to work at a national and international level. The license is aimed at coaches who wish to work on the international shooting circuit and with national and international teams.

 

Upon successful completion of this course, the coach is eligible to apply to attend a future B-license course.

 

From October 21st to October 26th

IOC/ISSF National Training Systems Development Project in Bar (MNE)

Registration deadline: March 28th

 

Olympic Solidarity in conjunction with the ISSF Academy presents a week-long Course for National Federations and their senior coaching and administrative staff to develop and implement a national coaching structure for the Olympic shooting sports.

 

For this course Member Federations can also apply for financial support to assist nominated participants. Applications for support can be addressed by sending a formal mail together with a pro forma-invoice to the ISSF Headquarters in Munich at the following address: issfacademy@issf-sports.org.

 

For all courses, interested participants should contact their National Federation for further details and to make a formal application to attend; please make sure that the registration is sent within the deadlines as demand for places on the course is strictly limited.

 

We kindly ask all our Member Federations to submit their application to the ISSF Headquarters by using the official registration form, that has already been distributed, as soon as possible.
