The third and last Shotgun stage of the season is about to start in Larnaka

After competing in New Delhi (IND) and Acapulco (MEX), the best Shotgun shooters in the world will gather in Cyprus from April 28th to May 8th, where they compete in the ISSF World Cup Stage 3.

The third competition of the 2017 ISSF Season will kick-off in two days in Larnaka (CYP), where the ISSF World Cup Stage 3 is scheduled to take place from April 28th to May 8th.

 

429 athletes will participate in the competition, representing 61 National Olympic Committees and piling up 435 starts. It will be the ninth World Cup stage held in the Mediterranean State, the second in Larnaka after the first one took place two years ago.

 

The competition will be the last chance for the athletes of the Shotgun discipline to gain qualification points for the 2017 ISSF World Cup Final, scheduled in New Delhi (IND) in the second half of October. The only other way to access the final competition of the season will be to end up on the podium of the upcoming ISSF Shotgun World Championship, taking place in Moscow (RUS) from August 30th to September 11th.

 

The schedule of the five final matches in Larnaka is the following:

 

Sunday, April 30th

Skeet Women at 5:15 pm (UTC+3:00)

 

Monday, May 1st

Skeet Men at 5:45 pm (UTC+3:00)

 

Wednesday, May 3rd

Double Trap Men at 4:15 pm (UTC+3:00)

 

Friday, May 5th

Trap Women at 4:45 pm (UTC+3:00)

 

Saturday, May 6th

Trap Men at 6:00 pm (UTC+3:00)

 

The 2017 ISSF World Cup Series will continue in Munich (GER), where the ISSF World Cup Stage 4 is scheduled to take place from the 17th to the 24th of May. A fifth and conclusive stage will then seal the World Cup in Gabala (AZE) from June 6th to June 14th.

 

The five final matches will be streamed live on the ISSF website, on the Federation’s Livestream channel and on its official Facebook page.
