The Mexican minister of Sport Mr. Alfredo Castillo Cervantes visited the ISSF World Cup in Acapulco

The ISSF President Mr. Olegario Vazquez Raña and the ISSF Secretary General Mr. Franz Schreiber welcomed Mr. Castillo Cervantes at today's Trap Mixed Event final match.

Mr. Alfredo Castillo Cervantes, the Mexican Minister of Sport, visited the Club de Caza, Tiro y Pesca de Acapulco today, where the ISSF World Cup Stage 2 is currently taking place.

 

Mr. Castillo Cervantes was welcomed by the ISSF President Mr. Olegario Vazquez Raña and by the ISSF Secretary General Mr. Franz Schreiber, with whom he watched the Trap Mixed Team semifinals and finals.

The Mexican Minister of Sport also took the chance to spend some time and chat with the many Mexican athletes who were competing in today’s event and training for the upcoming ones. And as an active social media user, he didn’t miss the chance to stress one interesting fact about the competition.

The Trap Mixed Team event was won by Spanish shooters Beatriz Rodriguez (31) and Antonio Bailon (32), who also received the congratulations from Mr. Castillo Cervantes himself.

The ISSF World Cup Stage 2 in Acapulco (MEX) will continue tomorrow with the Double Trap Men final scheduled at 3:45 pm (UTC-6:00). The match will be streamed live on the ISSF website, on its Livestream channel and on its official Facebook page.
