The ISSF Executive Committee, which met in Munich on the 29th of November, approved the locations of the 2015 ISSF World Cup Finals.
The 2015 ISSF World Cup Final in Rifle and Pistol events will be held at the 1972 Olympic Shooting Range of Munich, Germany. The 2015 ISSF Shotgun World Cup Final has been assigned to Nicosia, Cyprus.
The ISSF Executive Committee also decided on the 2016 ISSF World Cup Series calendar. The 2016 Olympic shooting range of Rio de Janeiro will host a combined World Cup stage in Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun events which will serve as test events for the Games. Rifle and Pistol World Cup stages will be held in Munich (GER), Bangkok (THA) and Granada (ESP). Shotgun World Cup stages are going to take place in San Marino (SMR), Baku (AZE) and Nicosia (CYP).
The Executive Committee also received very positive feedbacks and reports on the ISSF Junior Cup held in Suhl, Germany, this year, and decided to continue with the development of the Junior Cup competition concept.
The dates of the 2015 ISSF World Cup Finals, of the 2016 ISSF World Cup Stages and of the next ISSF Junior Cup competitions will be defined next year and published on the ISSF online calendar at www.issf-sports.org
