Register to follow the 2014 ISSF General Assembly, to be held in Munich on the 2nd and 3rd of December.

The Media Accreditation process for the 2014 ISSF General Assembly has been opened.

The 2014 ISSF General Assembly will take place at the Hilton Hotel Am Tucherpark in Munich, Germany, on the 2nd and 3rd of December.

The General Assembly - the highest moment of the ISSF democratic life - takes place every two years. More than 300 representatives of 157 Member Federations will take part in the meetings that will be led by the ISSF President Olegario Vazquez Raña and by the ISSF Secretary General Franz Schreiber.

The Assembly will vote to renew all the governing bodies of the ISSF after a four-year term: the Presidency, the Secretariat, the Executive Committee, the Administrative Council and the Section Committees.

ISSF President Olegario Vazquez Raña – first elected in 1980 - is running for his 9th term after leading the International Shooting Sport Federation for the last 34 years.

S.S.H. Salman Al Sabah of Kuwait - the current ISSF Vice-President and President of the Asian Shooting Confederation – is the only other candidate running for the ISSF Presidency.

The Assembly will also decide the assignation of the 2017 ISSF Shotgun World Championship among eight candidate member federations.
